Guided Hunting Excursions
Find yourself nestled in the majestic pines and aspens of the Rocky Mountains waiting for the perfect opportunity to fill your tag, bring home your harvest and share your success photos.
Our guided Rifle hunts are in GMU 77.
The guided camp accommodations are quite comfortable as you stay in quaint canvas wall tents. Our main “indoor” gathering place is the cook tent, where we’ll share most of our meals--hearty breakfasts and wonderful evening meals sure to please. Nourishing lunches are packed for our trip of the day. We’ll plan our next day’s activities at dinner or around the campfire before we hit the sack.
We provide canvas wall tents with wood stoves, high-quality cots and sleeping pads that, when coupled with a good meal after a vigorous hunt and that fresh alpine air, are sure to make for a great night’s sleep.
Your guide will plan the day’s hunt with you, wrangle the horses, show you the country, call elk in, and otherwise help you execute tactics to down your game. Most of our hunting is done in the morning and evening while the game are on the move. For our bow hunters and muzzleloaders, we usually call the elk in to about 10-30 yards. An average shot length for rifle is 200 yds. Shot opportunity is 70% based on the last 10 years.
