What Colorado units do you take hunters?
Our permitted drop camps with the United States Forest Service are located in GMU 74 and GMU 77 in Colorado. Our guided camps are located in GMU 77.
Do I have to have prior horse experience to ride with you?
SJO has a great herd of horses that can accommodate all riding experience. Although you are not required to have prior experience, for our longer trips, it is helpful if you can get a few rides in near your home town or on trailrides prior to your adventure.
Are licenses over the counter?
Currently in the State of Colorado, here are the breakdowns for the units we hunt in. These are subject to changed based on what the State Division of Parks and Wildlife decides on an annual basis:
